What are Nesting Therapy Benches?

Our nesting therapy benches are a series of 4 benches each smaller than the next that conveniently fit together.  The therapy benches are a great addition to any therapy clinic or home with someone who suffers from special needs.  The therapy benches are very sturdy and are constructed with only the strongest materials and as always we have safety in mind.

Who uses them?

The Affordable Therapy Solutions Nesting Therapy Benches are most commonly found in the home or clinic used as a chair and table.  With the child sitting on a smaller one you place a taller one over their legs like a table.  Occupational Therapist’s love this feature because it allows for them to have a place to work anywhere not just where their table is at.  In the home for the same reason, the child can color or anything wherever they would like.  Our Nesting Therapy Benches also can be used to practice stair climbing in a less dangerous environment.

How should I use them?

As stated before the most common use is as a table and chair.  Have your child sit on one bench then place the other over their legs as they are sitting this provides them a place to work.  Also if you chose to use them to help teach stair climbing then adult supervision is recommended. To do so, simply put the therapy benches in front of one another as close as you would like and have your child walk up and down it.
